Design and Build

The Galaxy S10+ is a premium device with a Gorilla Glass 6 front and Gorilla Glass 5 or ceramic back, supported by an aluminum or ceramic frame. It measures 157.6 x 74.1 x 7.8 mm and weighs 175g or 198g (ceramic version). The phone is IP68 water and dust resistant (up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes) and offers Single SIM or Hybrid Dual SIM options.

Display

The Galaxy S10+ features a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with 1440 x 3040 pixels resolution (~522 PPI) and HDR10+ support, providing vivid colors and deep contrast. With a screen-to-body ratio of 88.9%, it offers an immersive viewing experience. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and includes an Always-on display feature.

Camera

The Galaxy S10+ boasts a triple rear camera system:

• 12MP wide lens (f/1.5-2.4) with dual-pixel PDAF and OIS for excellent low-light performance.
• 12MP telephoto lens (f/2.4) with 2x optical zoom for detailed close-ups.
• 16MP ultra-wide lens (f/2.2) with a 123° field of view, perfect for capturing landscapes.

The camera setup supports 4K video recording at 60fps, 1080p super slow motion at 960fps, HDR10+ video, and gyro-EIS for smooth footage. The dual front cameras include a 10MP primary lens and an 8MP depth sensor, capable of 4K video recording at 60fps.

Performance

The Galaxy S10+ is powered by either the Exynos 9820 (International) or Snapdragon 855 (USA/China) chipset, both offering powerful, efficient performance. With 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage (expandable via microSD on the dual SIM model), the S10+ can handle multitasking and demanding applications with ease.

Battery and Charging

The Galaxy S10+ includes a 4100mAh battery, supporting 15W wired and wireless charging as well as 4.5W reverse wireless charging. With Samsung’s PowerShare feature, it can also charge other Qi-compatible devices.

Software

Running on Android 9 (upgradable to Android 12) with One UI 4.1, the Galaxy S10+ offers a user-friendly experience with Samsung’s signature features, including Samsung DeX for a desktop-like experience and support for Samsung Pay.
